Leratong Village where we started the project.

It is part of the greater Qwaqwa, but located on one of the highest peaks of the surrounding mountains. To get there you climb a very steep and rough road, so most people have moved away from there to find housing closer to town and work. The people left are as a rule old and unable to find work down in town. It has all the infrastructure we need as well as a school that can cater for at least 400 children, but presently less than 70 children attend, many from neighbouring Lesotho.

The storeroom is finished and we start on

the first house.

During December 2005 we had a team from the US

here to help us around the Centre and while they were

here this playground was constructed. Since it is the only

recreation for the pre-school kids in the village, you will find

kids here from early to late every day.

February 14, 2005

Since we had the building we decided to run a proper

daycare together with the feeding scheme.

To keep the builders busy in times when we had no

funds to buy bricks we started on a visitor's house build from

stones we collect from the area. Once finished it will have

stunning views from the deck in front.

Bernard joined us during this time and served

with us until the end of 2007

December 2005

By 16 December after a year of slowly

building whenever God supplied building

material, the roof was on the 1st house, and

when the team arrived on the 23rd of December

they were the first people to use this house.

March 2006

After praying every day for God to supply so

the roof can go on the hall, in March 2006, He

did a miracle and through people we have never

met supplied the funds to put the roof on the hall!!

April 2006

We start the 2nd house.

OUR WAY. WE STAND IN AWE AT THE

MIRACLES HE HAS

DONE AND ARE IN EXPECTATION OF THE

THINGS HE IS STILL TO DO.

WE SERVE AN AWESOME GOD!!
