Monaheng is Tume’s cousin, and you couldn’t find two more different children.  Monaheng has a short attention span, and is prone to mischief after a little while.  Yet he is bright and sweet, and in this past year has made some phenomenal progress.  I’ve always said that he is going to be an engineer or architect someday—he loves building things and using his hands.  He is so good with a hammer (supervised of course!), and likes playing with the PVC pipes, water station, and rice play station.  Monaheng cannot sometimes concentrate long enough to finish his writing exercises, and when he and Tshediso get together they often do not do what they are supposed to, but there is not a mean bone in this little boy’s body.

Monaheng has grown so much since 2008.  Believe it or not, he takes his work very serious these days.  He is bright and I have no problem to get him to finish his work.  He is also very eager to try new letters and even copies words that I write on the blackboard on his little board.  He has the most beautiful smile and I just love him for his willingness to please.  He is a very happy and content little boy.  Sugar is sweet and Monaheng is sweeter!!
